Decorated Cakes by Mel

Here goes......I just wanted to find a way to share with everyone that I know and also to get the word out others as well, my love for Cakes. I love to bake and decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, etc.... The one above is one that I made a couple years for my nephew Hunter. I will post more pictures of cakes that I have made later on....there have been several, and I don't have a picture of them all. I would like to get back into doing them to sale for birthdays, wedding showers, baby showers, valentines, etc.... This cake is equivalent to about a 13x9 and I would sell it for $20....Sheet cakes....depending on what kind $30-$40......I have not yet experimented with fondant because I really am not fond of the consistency of it myself, but am about to begin that journey...
